aaaand.. back to Misfit toys

I started making the Misfit toys, from the tv show Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a long time ago. I made Dolly, and started the Elephant, then ran out of elephant thread! Ugh. So, I recently got the urge to begin again.. and found some elephant thread, finished him.. and now I think he is too small! Ugh, again! But, I did finish Charlie in the box, and I love him! Here he is...

He is the 'right' size to go with Dolly, so I think I will redo Elephant. I also thought Elephant just didn't look quite right. So, yes, I will do him over.

 I have begun the Gun that shoots grape jelly. I will post his picture when he is finished.

Piccolo Photo

Here he is... little Piccolo. He has finally arrived at his new home with prize winner Mary Helen.

He was very well received, and will have a great home.  He is even smaller than Dantè. I wish now I had taken a 'comparison' picture to show his size.  His new mom tells me she will  post pictures of him on her blog this weekend, so look for him there too.

Contest baby bat sent

I have sent the prizes to the contestants. Congrats again, girls!
Maureen and BJ have chosen Halloween patterns, and Mary Helen chose for me to make her
a little 3D bat. I have finished him, named him (though she may rename him if she choses) taken pictures and sent him. His name is Piccolo, because he is so small. I will post a picture of him after she gets him. Don't want to spoil her surprise!
