Halloween! 2025
I was so busy during the Halloween season, but now it's done. I was pleasantly pleased to have 22 trick-or-treaters, because we had very nice weather this year.
I was in a couple of swaps, so I didn't get a ton of crafting done for myself. But I did do this...
I have seen this mummy Snoopy and Woodstock online several places and they were exorbitantly priced. I had a piece of wood that I got scrap at a lumber yard for free, I just drew the picture on and cut it out with my jigsaw and painted it. Snoopy is 21 inches tall if that is any indication. Everywhere I looked they were $50 or more. Mine was free. And I really love it, it's so cute.
I also did some crocheting...
The goofy pumpkin and little squash are actually a pattern on Ravelry. The tall one is called Herman pumpkin doll by cottontail and whiskers. But at the time I could not afford to buy them so I just made my own. The skull earrings and pendant, I made several of these. I gave them his gifts. There was a YouTube video. Some of them that I made were white and some of them were black. But all were well received.
here are some of the decorations inside and outside my home... and some pictures of my beautiful pups. Rebel was not in the mood to get his photo taken, but Pixie is always in the mood.
