Heathcliff Hedgehog

Tadah! Here is Heathcliff Hedgehog. Laura Bobay gave me this awesome warty gourd at the Lafayette Lace Day. She made herself Hector, as shown in a previous post, and I just finished making my Heathcliff. Well, almost finished, he needs a clear coat to seal the deal. And even though I thought Hector was adorable, I didn't want to make Heathcliff look the same, so I got a picture of a real hedgehog off the internet and tried to make him look like it. I couldn't show my tatting yet, as I am making a secret thing for my haunted house (an AWESOME idea from my sister), which I will show when it is all finished. So, I am showing Heathcliff. I did save the seeds, and hopefully, they will grow and I can have more critters later this summer! Thanks again, Laura!!

Unbelievable that the hedgepigs are made out of gourds. What a talent you both have.

Thanks so much for the compliments, gals!~ He isn't nearly as adorable as the picture I took him from, but I like him just the same!
