Another Barefoot Sandal

I got mine done this morning, and I like mine better than the first ones I did for my sister! I am partial to bees, (sis, to butterflies) so I made mine with bees. I made them with my own little bee pattern,(very similar to the one by Martha Ess, but a little different) and purple felt behind my flower. Can't wait until it is warm enough (it is 40 here right now) outside to wear them!

Ooh, I like that! The bees are so cute. I'm partial to them myself.

Thanks Steph,
my Dad used to keep bees, so we have a bunch of the little buggers around!

Very clever!
Makes you wish it was 80 outside, doesn't it?

Those are so cool. I'm sure you could sell some of those if you wanted. I live about an hour from the Gulf--the Spring Breakers would go wild over them.

Danger! Wearing your sandals around other tatters may place you in grave danger of being mugged! Simply sublime!

Can we see the back, too, to see the felt? Pleeeease. It will help if I decide to make a pair for my niece.

heee hee victats~!

Sewicked, I will post a pic as soon as I can.
I have decided to put elastic thread on the back instead of the long 'bee tails' as I have had them come untied several times..
