...................KIWI

Well, for anyone who has ever played Facebook's Island Paradise.. you know how hard it is to get a kiwi for your island. I woke up this morning with a tatted kiwi in my mind. Odd thing, I had never thought of tatting one. I immediately got up and scribbled down the picture in my head... and here he is.

two shuttles CTM. I used DMC 8 and Kiwi is

about 1½ long not counting beak.



R2-10-----------2+ long p and pull up tight so the picot is wide at the bottom,

not doubled, 12 RW (this is the head)

Ch16 SS

R3-3-3-3 SS

Ch2 SS

R 3-3-3-3 SS

Ch 2 SS

R 3-3-3-3 SS

Ch 16 join to base of head ring

Ch 2 + picot on head ring

Ch20 + 1st p on first body ring

Ch14 + middle p of middle ring

Ch 3-12 + last p of last ring

Ch8------------10 + base of head ring.

Hide ends

Cut leg picot and block or stiffen to put in curve for feet, and point beak.

oh, JB.. this is the bird kiwi, not the fruit! , but oh, my yes, I LOVE the fruit. Have you ever had it dried in a dehydrator... yum!!
