Teaser!!!

Ok, here are some teaser photos of some elements of my Haunted house. Most will be used, a few, probably not. I don't know how to make all the pictures "enlarge- able" so, I guess only the first one will be. (If anyone can tell me, please do so) Most of the elements are hopefully recognizable, but I have added notations to the ones I think need explaining. The gargoyle, for example. He looks more like a big rat to me. I may have to make a new one, or two. I have made up all these creatures, most of them I just tatted while watching tv, so didn't write them down. Of course, I have not hidden ends, as is obvious, and I need to stiffen the bell tower. I have a few more surprises... but....let me know what you think, or if you have any other spooky ideas for elements. I am going to make a crow, and maybe a corn stalk... not sure yet.

Hmmm, I'm not sure now who's having the most fun. You making the haunted house or other people like me who are SO enjoying watching it GROW. I DO hope I get to see all your large tatting projects 'live' one day. Must admit I've not put my Santas away yet and they are here beside my chair.

What about the sheaf of cornstalks? A black cat? Full moon? Gibbous moon? Crows? Love what you've done so far. I'm looking forward to the finished house.

Fantastic Carol! I feel like I'm on pins and needles or laying on a bed of nails anxiously awaiting your finished castle (Haunted House) Is there a coffin for your haunted house too?

Thanks everyone for the great responses! I must admit, I am having fun thinking of all the ghoulish things I can decorate the house with. I am trying to think of how to make the cornstalk, and the black cat is a good idea, I do have a pattern for one. The Coffin, hmmm I do have a graveyard.. it is a possibility!. I couldn't think of how to suspend the moon, though I did want to make one, maybe with a witch or bat flying by it. Keep them ideas coming!!

How about a skeletal tree, maybe with a noose hanging from it? Love the skeletons! Okay, I like all of the elements you've made and look forward to any others.

Carol, Your 3-D tatting is absolutely amazing. It looks like your haunted house is going to be another master piece for us to be amazed by.

I too, am looking forward to seeing the finished haunted house. As for suspending a moon, you could try attaching a fairly fine wire (heavy enough to hold itself and the moon) to the base so it sticks straight up and then attach the moon to the top. Don't know if it will work, but it's something you try if you want. Awesome job as always.
