A while back Sherry T sent me this picture on the left of a doily of which she was looking for the pattern. I thought it would be gorgeous in colors, so I colorized the photo in my PaintShop Pro this morning, and added the colorized version to the right. I think I might like to make it colored, but we don't have the pattern. If anyone can help in the search, let me know! Thanks. If you click on the picture, it will be larger.

Teaser!!!
Ok, here are some teaser photos of some elements of my Haunted house. Most will be used, a few, probably not. I don't know how to make all the pictures "enlarge- able" so, I guess only the first one will be. (If anyone can tell me, please do so) Most of the elements are hopefully recognizable, but I have added notations to the ones I think need explaining. The gargoyle, for example. He looks more like a big rat to me. I may have to make a new one, or two. I have made up all these creatures, most of them I just tatted while watching tv, so didn't write them down. Of course, I have not hidden ends, as is obvious, and I need to stiffen the bell tower. I have a few more surprises... but....let me know what you think, or if you have any other spooky ideas for elements. I am going to make a crow, and maybe a corn stalk... not sure yet.

New friend for Laura
Hoarace Hedgehog! You may remember Laura gave me a gourd to make myself a hedgehog like hers? Well, we discussed gourds, and I told her I had grown some snake gourds last year, and I would send her some seeds. I had also bought this lovely thread, with no idea what to make with it. Well... as a thank you, I decided to make her Hoarace the hedgehog! He is a tiny little thing, but I think he is a cutie pie. I also made myself one... his name is Hedley! (no not Heady.. Hedley.) I named hers Hoarace.. after Lady Hoare.. and mine Hedley..'cos I like Blazing Saddles, and couldn't think of another tatting type name that starts with H.
